How to Have a Calendar Raffle Fundraiser

| July 10, 2013

A Calendar Raffle Fundraiser is a fundraiser where your organization sells special calendars to your supporters.  Businesses sponsor each day on the calendar and donate gift cards, products or services to your organization.  Each calendar that is sold is assigned a number.   On each day, all of the calendar numbers are put into a container and a designated person pulls out a number.  The person that owns that calendar with that number then wins the prize for that day.  There can be multiple prizes on one day.  For example, if Joey’s Pizza Restaurant donated 4 $25.00 gift cards, to be raffled off on June 3rd, 4 different calendar numbers can win.  Each day, all of the calendar numbers are entered in the raffle jar so that a person has up to 31 chances to win (if there are 31 days in the month).

How much can be made by having a Calendar Fundraiser?

Calendars can be sold from $5 – $25 each depending on the quality of the items being raffled.  The ultimate factor on how much you can make is how many calendars you can sell.  For example, if you sold them for $10 each and you sold 200 calendars and all of the raffle items were donated, you would earn $2,000 minus the cost of printing.  This is an easy fundraiser.

Happy Fundraising!
